How Mizkif threatened Emiru
In a livestream shared by multiple X accounts, Emiru opened up about the alleged threats she received from Mizkif at TwitchCon 2025. She said that Mizkif “approached people around her during the convention and tried to get them to back him up, but they refused. ‘Obviously, they’re not insane,’” she added. Emiru explained that later that night one of her employees told her Mizkif had threatened them, warning that if she ever spoke about him, he would “destroy her.”
She also claimed he messaged one of her close friends, apparently under the pretext of “checking on her safety,” then immediately warned her staff that he intended to “ruin her life.”
She recounted a disturbing encounter: “We hadn’t talked in a while…he started kissing me, and I let him. Suddenly, he tried to climb on top of me. I screamed, and he jumped off. He said, ‘I feel weird now, like I did something wrong,’ and then immediately left without checking if I was okay.”
Emiru’s 2025 TwitchCon assault incident
Emiru was assaulted during a meet-and-greet at TwitchCon 2025 in San Diego on October 17, when a man bypassed security barriers and forcibly grabbed her face while trying to hug her, some dubbed it as the fan was trying to kiss her inappropriately. Her personal security intervened, but event staff reacted slowly. She later criticized Twitch for downplaying the incident and failing to act immediately, saying she felt unsafe and unsupported despite having her own security.

Mizkif, a well-known American YouTuber and Twitch streamer, was born in Montclair, New Jersey, on February 16, 1995.
