TN SSLC exams 2026 begin from tomorrow: Check full exam schedule, timings, and important guidelines for students

The Directorate of Government Examinations Tamil Nadu will conduct the Class 10 public examinations in the state starting March 11, 2026. According to the official schedule released by the board, the exams will continue until April 6, 2026.

Exam Mode and Timing

The TN SSLC examinations will be held in offline mode using the pen-and-paper format. Each paper will take place in a single shift, beginning at 10:00 am and concluding at 1:15 pm. Students have been advised to arrive at their respective examination centres well before the reporting time mentioned on their hall tickets.

Hall Ticket Mandatory for Entry

Students are required to carry their SSLC hall ticket to the examination centre on every exam day. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit card.

Candidates should reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the exam begins to avoid any last-minute issues and ensure they are seated on time.
