Indian equities opened little changed on Friday, edging modestly higher after the Sensex and Nifty halted a three-session slide in the previous session. Sentiment found mild support from gains across Asian markets and a cooling of geopolitical concerns tied to Greenland, though sustained foreign fund outflows and mixed corporate earnings kept investors cautious.
At the opening bell, the Sensex was up 12 points, or 0.01%, at 82,319.32, while the Nifty added 8 points, or 0.03%, to 25,297.80.
