Sena, Congress talk tough with NCP (SP) over Rajya Sabha seat
Mumbai: Both the Sena (UBT) and the Congress are making veteran politician and NCP(SP) leader Sharad Pawar sweat it out on the issue of lending support to him for the Rajya Sabha seat. Sena (UBT) and Congress have laid their claim for the Rajya Sabha seat, with the Sena even saying that they would not give up their claim just because a ‘big name’ is in the contention.An MVA meeting on Thursday was inconclusive as both the parties stuck to their positions.
