Tensions flared at a Senate hearing as Sen. Elizabeth Warren pressed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on whether Americans could access Covid boosters at their local pharmacies. Kennedy replied that ‘anybody can get the booster’, but added that his agency’s new guidelines mean ‘it is not recommended.’ Warren fired back, warning that ‘not recommending vaccines has consequences’, making them harder to access and less likely to be covered by insurance. Later, Sen. Bernie Sanders asked Kennedy if he accepted that the COVID-19 vaccine was a ‘miracle.’
