A meeting of party MPs, state ministers and leadership took place at the residence of Bolangir MP Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo. Some of the MPs had earlier expressed disappointment over not being consulted by the state government for the projects and development work in their constituencies. The meeting was held to resolve the issues and proceed with the development agenda.
“The appointments in state corporations and boards will take place first in almost a month’s time from now. This will be followed by the organisational appointments and then a cabinet reshuffle,” BJP Odisha in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar told ET.
Tomar, however, denied that the Delhi visits and meetings had anything to do with the appointments and cabinet reshuffle.
