NBCC shares in focus on securing projects worth Rs 289 crore from NALCO, SAIL Bokaro

As per the company’s disclosure to the stock exchanges, the first contract, awarded by NALCO (National Aluminium Company Limited) for a range of civil and infrastructure-related development works.
The scope of work includes planning, designing, and executing various civil, electrical, water supply, and horticulture works, in addition to construction and repairs of RCC structures, dismantling of existing buildings, and new construction activities.
The contract also covers civic amenities and other associated developmental works at NALCO’s office and township (S).
The approximate value of this contract stands at Rs 255.50 crore, and the nature of the order is classified as a domestic project management consultancy assignment.
The second contract has been awarded by SAIL Bokaro for desilting of Cooling Pond #1 (Hot & Cold Water Chambers). This also falls under the category of project management consultancy and is domestic in nature.
The value of this order is approximately Rs 33.89 crore, as per the regulatory filing.Both contracts are classified as domestic assignments, and NBCC will undertake the role of project management consultant for the execution of the respective scopes of work.
On Thursday, NBCC shares closed 1.6% higher at Rs 108.35 on the BSE.
