Axis Bank reported a 26% YoY drop in net profit for Q2FY26 at ₹5,090 crore, hurt by higher provisions and slower interest income growth. NII grew 2% YoY to ₹13,744 crore, while operating profit dipped 3%. Fee income rose 10%, driven by retail banking. Gross NPAs improved to 1.46% and net NPAs to 0.44%.
