US President Donald Trump hinted that the Justice Department could be investigating former FBI Director Christopher Wray over the January 6 Capitol riot. In an NBC interview, Trump accused Wray of ‘inappropriate behaviour’ and suggested much of his service as FBI chief was questionable. Wray resigned at the end of the Biden administration, following years of tension with Trump over the fallout from the 2020 election.
