NEW DELHI: BSE(Rs. 4581.28 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 1673.00 crore), JP Power(Rs. 1625.80 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1517.01 crore), Titan Company (Rs. 1372.58 crore), Waaree Energies(Rs. 1233.58 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1163.96 crore), RIL(Rs. 1101.67 crore), Belrise Industries Ltd.(Rs. 1003.66 crore) and Alok Industries(Rs. 992.61 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 61.21 points up at 25522.5, while BSE Sensex rose 270.01 points to 83712.51.
In the Nifty index, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 3.48 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(up 1.92 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.72 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.51 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 6.14 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent) and Trent Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
