Another record-breaking moment came from New Zealand’s Finn Allen, who hammered a blistering 100 off just 33 balls in the semifinal. The knock became the fastest century in the history of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, highlighting Allen’s remarkable power-hitting ability.
Top performers in the tournament
The tournament also saw strong performances from several international players. Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan emerged as one of the leading run-scorers of the competition.
Canada’s Yuvraj Samra registered the highest individual score of the tournament with 110 in an innings, while Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett recorded the highest batting average of 146 during the competition.Among bowlers, India’s Varun Chakaravarthy topped the wicket charts with 14 wickets, finishing as the leading wicket-taker of the tournament.
